Announcement about disc finish (5/26/16) - Process change since January 2015

RacingBrake is implementing a change to its disc surface coating to all "black" or "silver" from the original cross-grinding finish to eliminate the use of anti-rust oil on braking surface. (click here to see differenct coating/finish)
This new surface coating can improve for easy handling and installation, so customer doesn't have to deal with cleaning/removing the anti-rust oil before installation, and the surface is also more precisely protected by the actual pad contact than per-grinding.

The protective paint, after bedding-in, will be completely gone and look just like the same as the old finish.

RacingBrake is leading the performance industry with ongoing brake quality improvement - Inside out like our first introduction of EDP surface finish (the original finish) in early 2000 to protect the disc from rusting which was quickly followed by other mfgrs which is now almost a standard finish, and again we expect this new finish/process will soon be followed by other brake manufacturers.

We are proud to be the first brake company implementing this environmental friendly process that can effectively prevent the entire disc from corrosion than traditional zinc or cadmium plating.

Disclaimer: Since the surface is paint in nature, so it's unavoidable to have scratches during handling and packaging which shall not affect the performance or even look after install/use, so we can't accept any claim or return due to this cosmetic imperfection.
