RB 2-PC (390x34mm) 25.3 lbs
Weight Savings: 6.1 lbs/ea

RB two piece advantage over OE two piece rotor:
- Cost less ad last longer -
  1. RB discs are curved vane (vs. OE pillar vane) for more efficient cooling.
  2. Our two piece rotor rings are replaceable when wear out, unlike OE you must purchase the whole rotor assembly.
  3. RB rotor rings are uni-directional (same disc can be assembled for either left or right side)
  4. RB rotors are made with better metallurgy and heat-treated, so they are lighter weight than OE (save 6.7lbs per rotor), and last longer.
  5. Same discs are used in other motorsports heavily track cars such as Nissan GTR, Viper ACR-E and Corvette ZR1 (CCM conversion), so these rotors are use by thousands of track enthusiasts with confidence.
  6. We offer XT910 compound for street driving with low dust and no squeaking, XR70 for dedicated track application.
Replacement Components:
Rotor ring: D601-02-381
Brake pad: D1291/1405

RB rotor fitment with OE caliper

RB rotors are made of harder iron than OE rotors. Our rotors are most compatible with semi-metallic brake pads. We do not recommend the use of ceramic brake pads, which may cause vibration.

Rotor Material: Racing Formula Alloyed Gray Iron & Heat treated
Machining: Open Slot
Surface: EDP Coating w/cross cut grinding on friction surface

Design Features:

  1. The cooling vanes are of a convergent nozzle design, which increases airflow and turbulence and makes discs cooler.

  2. The center-mount flanges for hat mounting to the rotor ring have several benefits.
    • It allows the ring to be used on either side of the vehicle simply by mounting the hat on either side of the ring (unidirectional).
    • The stress load transferred from the ring to the hat is balanced.
    • Air inlets are widely open to both inboard and outboard sides of the rotor. More air suctions and even temperature on both sides of the disc surface.
    • Heat transfer from the disc surfaces to the hat is even and minimized by increasing the flange length and the airflow around the flanges.
    • Mounting flanges are on both friction surfaces ultimately provides excellent heat balance.
  3. Exclusive full floating design with 10.9 grade alloyed hardware. Hardware is DACRO coated and crimp locking. DACRO is highly corrosion resistant and provides a film for easier movement between the hat and rotor ring as disc expands and contracts and the crimp design provides positive engagement without rattling or torque loss at temperature.
